Bratislava
Bratislava capital of Slovakia is located on the river Danube, about 60km from Vienna perfect for hen weekends. The old town is the lively part of town, but good bars and clubs are spread over the city. Places to look for are Charlie's pub (by Tesco) which is full of 20something's, the Harley Davidson Pub for its mud wrestling popular with the stag weekends, and the B+ centre by the Holiday Inn for the biggest mainstream disco. Some of Bratislava's best clubs are hidden in the old bomb shelters where the blasting music bothers no-one. Try the Galarie Duna at the Technical University for hardcore house in a tin foil bunker, surrounded by staff in radiation suits.
