Paragliding or in French Parapente - one of the closest feelings to flying you will ever be able to experience. Invented just 50km from Chamonix, this incredible sport has spread all around the world to take over from hangliding as the most popular form of unpowered flight.
Your instructor will take you up to one of the numerous launch spots along the valley and then after a few minutes preparation you’ll be strapped together and ready to run off the nearest cliff. 40-50 minutes of soaring above the mountains on the thermals later and you’ll land safely in the lush grass/snow covered fields in the centre of town.
