A trip to Salou is incomplete without a trip to the best Theme Park outside the UK. The infamous Port Aventura. Situated on the outskirts of Salou. You will receive an open ticket to go whenever it suits you. As the park is open all day you can sleep of your hangover and go when it suits you. The park has over 50 major attractions to suit all tastes. The most famous ones include “The Dragon Khan” a high speed roller coaster that has over 7 loops, “The Stampida” a totally wooden roller coaster where two coasters race each other. Also it has one of the highest drop rides in Europe at over 300 feet. To cool off try one of the many water rides including “The Tutuki Splash@ “The canyon Rapids and the Log Flume”.
The whole park is run by Universal so you know its gonna be the best. There is a full day to keep you occupied. Its so good most people buy a two day pass to ensure they get to go on all the rides. It only costs about 1 pound each in cab for the short journey.
