Zapcat Powerboat … the best ever experience? … Probably!!
On your last day of freedom you want to experience the ultimate ride!
If you have seen them on TV then you may know what you are about to let yourself in for, simply… the ride of your life!
Feel the awesome power and handling of these amazing inflatable lightweight catamarans as they pull 3G turns around a marker buoy. Add to this combination a large outboard engine and a power to weight ratio of 340bhp per tonne you are guaranteed to have an adrenalin pumping, action filled ride... that you will never have experienced before, not as a passenger but as a co-pilot as it is your responsibility to balance the boat for the turns!
Five minutes will feel like an hour, any more will feel like a day! - Upon arrival at the marina you will be given a full safety briefing, its then time to change into drysuits and hit the water. Your instructor will demonstrate to you exactly what these crazy machines are capable of...expect to spend as much time in the air as on the water!
Then, weather permitting and at the instructors discretion, it's your turn...open the engine and feel the power of the Zapcat, how good is that?
Almost 2.5 hours on the water on the support boat, a 225hp Rigid Inflatable Boat and the Zapcats – two experiences in one, bonus!

Other Restrictions:
• Non Swimmers accepted but please inform us at safety briefing.
• Not suitable for pregnant women
• Not suitable for those with serious back problems or heart complaints.
• No under 16s – under 18s must have parental consent
• No upper age limit if you think you are fit enough
• Zapcat Blasts are extreme by nature but that is the thrill!
Clothing Required - Drysuits will be provided as well as necessary safety wear. Participants are advised to bring a towel and warm but light weight clothing. Gloves and wetsuit boots are also provided. Showers and changing facilities are available in the marina, please be advised that these are shared premises by other marina users.
Hot days, shorts and t shirts on the boats, sunscreen, bottled water and sunglasses with a lanyard are recommended. Disposable camera also recommended or a digital in a waterproof case.
Spectator Information - Due to the location of Ocean Village, there are no vantage points to view the experience
Weather Restrictions - Zapcats are powerful and lightweight boats which means we cannot operate in very high winds, although we can usually find shelter in Southampton Water
Snow and Fog can also prevent us from running. So if there is likelihood of a weather delay we will notify you.
