Golf Course
Take a tour of the George Washington Golf and Country Club and you can expect a championship 18-hole golf course with plenty of tree-lined, wide fairways and natural hazards. The course challenges both occasional and seasoned players with a number of par 5 holes penalising the wayward golfer.
A 7-hole par 3 academy course and 20-bay floodlit driving range are available on site, perfect for practise or beginners.
The course, within easy access of the A1 and A19 motorways is located just 5 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne and 6 miles from Sunderland.
Clubhouse
The newly built golf clubhouse offers lounge bar, golf shop, locker and changing facilities plus a spacious function room ideal for private dining and a balcony overlooking the first and tenth tees. A delicious range of freshly prepared snacks and bistro dishes are available in the clubhouse from 7am - 10pm and free wireless is available throughout.
